Where can I find the chassis/vin number required to obtain new log book on a Ford Jewellair
I have old tax discs1975/76/77/78/79 but the registration number seems to be unrecognised by ~DVLA G495 GSX
so need to find the correct position of required number

I assume your tractor is based on the Ford 5000 or Ford 6600 tractor, if so the serial number, model number and date code is stamped into the top of mounting lug behind the starter. Not the best place to see if you have a loader! It was also on a stick on decal under the bonnet but I expect this has gone or is unreadable now.
