Hi Len,
My offer was based on the assumption that the magneto would not spark, due to the fact that they lose their magnetism when stored, plus it appears to be fitted with a Lucas impulse drive which is not original.
If you need to have it refurbished it will probably cost you £200.00!
Whatever the outcome please contact me before you sell it.
Regards.
Gerald

Hi Gerald, sorry for the delay I totally agree with you it probably would cost in the region of £200 to rebuild, I will try it the next time I go to my parents and let you know the outcome, with regard to the impulse drive I have no idea I'm sure you know more about these mags than I do.
Cheers Len.
