The double clutch requires a special assembly fixture. I don't think that anyone here has one that they can measure.

Here's a page from the manual that shows some pictures of one.

So I picked up a really nice gift for Granny's birthday today,Problem is I didn't get any instructions with it. This is the Neuday SW510 clutch tool, I believe for the 2000 -8000, and apparently the Majors as well. I have had several people tell me it would do the Majors and this is the 3rd one I have seen with the horse shoe setting blocks marked FMD.
It seems the each individual tractor models shop manual had the instructions for using this tool specifying the combination of spacers needed to set the finger height, but my manual is the same as JC's and only shows the earlier tool. Is my shop manual missing the last supplements? does anyone have instructions to use this one to set up the Major's clutch?
