Kverneland plough

Post by county654 »

Hallo,

I wanted to share a couple pics of my newest toy :D Image
Today I had time to pick up a plough that was waiting in a ditch for a couple years, before a friend gave it to me for free

It'slooking great.
Some people say Kverneland are the best.
The County won't have any trouble with it, I think.
Kind regards, Henk

I have the same, but with 2 furrows :-)

Kverneland has always been a top quality product, made in Norway. They have made numerous implements over the years, not only ploughs...

The ploug won´t work corret on the County :( The track gauge is to wide.

Hi Dave,

not every plough matches with every tractor :(

looking good
I've only seen furrow wheels on ferguson ploughs , I suppose its a rolling landslide ?
cant tell in the photo , are the bodies full shine now , how long /how much work did that take to polish ?
seems to take ages for mine to come clean , ish . I'm told take them to the beach - sand but never tried it .

my dad always tells stories of this plough he bought , prob 70's - 80' s that would plough anything , I'll show him the pictures , always described it as foreign , to the u.k. he loved it.

my dad thinks that's the make/ style that he had years ago , always talked fondly about it , was a 3+1 with the 4 th removed pulled but a DB 990 . then by a zetor.

describes the skims as being the size of 10" fergie mouldboards , bury anything. he always wished he'd kept it .
does urs have the skims?

Is your plow a 3 x 14" or a 3 x 16" ?

my father used also kverneland 3x16 behind his super major in the

late 70's start 80's before we got a 75' ford 5000.

But I believe the i14" pluogh is more correct for major, if you want to stay on standard track width ?
