British tractors in Maçanet (Catalonia, Spain) May 7, 2017

Post by David Ebro »

Hi:

Yesterday held an agricultural fair in Maçanet de la Selva and there was an exhibition of veteran tractors, many of them are still used for real work.

At the moment I only show them British tractors, which we are sure that they will interest them, but if tractors also interested as Lanz, Renault, Mercedes, John Deere, Hanomag-Barreiros, International-Harvester, Spaniard Fordson (Ebro) & MF, etc, please tell it me.

Bests Regards: David Ebro.

Cooking stew of rice, meat and seafood for the tractor drivers, accompanied by coffee, red wine and liquors and for some people: water.

You are welcome in Maçanet: British tractors have a solid reputation and in Catalan there is a play on words: "Strong" in Catalan means "Fort", which is pronounced the same as "Ford". :buddies:
"A hymn to life the ploughs sing".
(From the tango "Silence" of Carlos Gardel).
