I don't see anything wrong with a cab, as long as you can put it back to original if you ever want to. Interested in seeing the end results. Looks like you are doing a good job from where I sit. 8) Dandy Dave!

Major's original hydraulic pump is a low power loader forest use. Build a more efficient external hydraulic pump. PTO shaft end flange is a hydraulic pump for the installation.

I install the cab heater to heat the engine cooling water. The cab will be very heat of heating the gearbox, but the auxiliary heaters blow is good to keep windows clear so that visibility remains good.

This is an innovative approach and very interesting. I have to ask if you have made plans to have screened/filtered oil going to the hydraulic pump as it looks like you are drawing from the lowest point of the rear end and hydraulic pumps don't like grit, water, and dirt. Where will the return line empty? Please keep the pictures coming! :)

Kim,
I was thinking the same thing, that's good advice.

It looks like you have been welding for a while, nice job!

Great design Avitor.
Is the place of the pump not a bit un protected with the hitch so close to it?
Your loosing some of your free play under the tractor, and at the same time you have placed a oil connection under the rear end. Will that not be a problem driving in the forest?

Using an external casing aft hydraulic oil tank is in my view a very workable solution. It is true that, particularly in Major's stern casing to cause its own challenges in maintaining the quality of oil. Keychain Case provides a lot of wall surface in a sweat, water, oil mix. So oil change intervals should pay particular attention. Casing below the pump inlet to the hydraulic output jack inside the case rises aft an inch upwards, so it does not take a very light oil. Next to the suction line also has two magnetic plug to remove the oil potential of metal particles. Hydraulic oil return line filter will return to the hydraulic system is the real end of the filter. Casing below the pump connections and the outgoing hose will protect the base armor. Tow hook device is a type of "SA-hook" which is blocked by inhibiting the upper of the cart from rising off the hook towbar's mouth. Therefore, the traction device is introduced into a normal hook hook attachment at a point beyond the rear of ditches, for example, that the crossings can not hit the cart bar hydraulic pump.
