Hi,

my name is Oskar from northern germany, i`m 50 years old, and i am very sorry that i did n`t do my english lessons in school 40 years ago very well! I hope u will apologize that.
I am a big fan of old mashinery and tractors, i´m an owner of five of them:
Mf 3095, 1991;
Fiat 850, 1974;
John Deere 710, 1966;
Güldner G45, 1966;
and, of course, a County 1124, 1971.
The last one is my favorite projekt at the time and i´m hopeful that i can end the restauration work in a few weeks.
I bought this tractor a year ago and i´m a litte bit confused about the radiator fan wich blows the air in the front direction and not to the back like any other tractor that i know. Does anyone has an idea if this is a problem for the cooling system?

thanks and best regards
Oskar

Welcome Oskar,

Nice to have some one from Germany again. Witch part?

You have a nice pack of tractors and a County will make some folks green from envy.

There are persons who will even want to buy your Guldner, so watch out for any offer you get from a guy named Brian.

Your tractor has an industrial fan. A number of tractor applications used fans this way round, including diggers, where the machine stands in one spot to work rather than moving forwards all the time. It also helps to keep the radiator cowl grills clear.

(Please post a picture of your Guldner, I want one of the big, orange, 6 cylinder ones). :D

Hello again,

thanks for the worm welcome and the advice.
I have a little problem to post a picture here, seems to be a bit complicated.
He Brian, as u know the G45 is a 4cylinder type, only the G60 and the G75 have six of them. These are very rare even in Germany...
The Fiat is 4wd type fitted with a Frontloader.
Both r nice tractors but no Fordsons :P
My County 1124 is fitted with an engine type 2713E instead of 2704E, what are the differences between these engines?

greetings
Oskar
