Brian,

I found some serious wear in the support housing from the pistons rings. I replaced the housing, changed rings, put in new clutch discs and a new brakearm/pad assembly. Everything works as it should now :) Thank you.

Next up is the handbrake.

Even with a new brake pad you may not find any improvement. It was not until the system was re-designed and a band brake fitted that the problem was cleared.
