Fordson chaseside

Hi all,
I am new to this site and wondered if anyone can help.
My dad several years ago restored his fordson chaseside tractor and I am looking for information as to how many others are still around in the uk as I have only seen a photo of one other to date so presume they are quite rare ?
My dads tractor has good solid tin work, has 4 new tyres on the rear axle and 2 new tyres on the front axle ( which I believe cost a fortune). The tractor still starts, drives and is in full operation but would benefit from another paint job!
Any info on these machines would be appreciated.
Regards.

Great machine 8)

A tractor like yours should never be sold , it should be inherited :D

Thanks for your kind words :D
Dad restored this machine some 8 - 10 years ago. All in good working order with great tin work, all glass been renewed and the bucket/ winching mechanism works well as it should.
Brand new tyres have been fitted and it just finishes it off well.
We have the log book for this tractor too.
I am thinking these machines are very rare as i have not seen any others in the flesh but seen a photo of a one which was in a bad state a few years ago.
Has anyone any ideas on what sort of price this chaseside would be worth?
The only thing that would benifit it would be a repaint !

hi, i am very interested in the chaseside pictured on this forum, and understand it maybe for sale. i moved twelve years ago to normandy just behind omaha beach, but before i moved i had two examples of the chaseside shovel both with perkins p6. it was a great regret but i could not take everything with me. if this machine is still for sale i would like to know the price and whereabouts, look forward to hearing from you , all the best ,tony g.
