So, what is it!
My guess would be a County of some sort, it's blue, equal size wheels, what looks like a driveshaft, you're a County man, 6 stud wheels (therefore early model) smallish size,
I would say a County 654.

6 bolt rims means major super-4. this one is extended though, you can see it on the prop axle. Theres a section between the sliding unit and the u-joint.

I've been thinking about it since I said 654, and was going to change it to super 4 or super 6 but you beat me to it.
Ground looks very dry. Are they trenching for drainage, piping (water piping) or something else.
Love the photo.

I bought the machine last week in the Netherlands and this was the first test. 8)

It is a Fordson Super 4 with Howard reduction gearbox .

I think noone recogized there is a Super 4 underneath the uglyest bonnet and cab I have ever seen.

Both machine spend their whole live together. Seem to be a 1961 Major and a Barth K140 dainagemachine.

Those 6 bolts told me, there is a Major Super 4 underneath the bonnet.

Even if i´d like to resore the machine, I think there is no way, to keep the unit together. Just to big and heavy .

I want to use the drainagemachine for some work, but don´t like the idea to ruin the 53 year old tractor in rather good technical stage.
The look is pretty much the ugliest tractor I have ever seen........should be the first job on the machine.

I am thinking about welding a rather heavy three point frame to use the Barth K140 behind one of our 150 hp+ tractors.

Any opinions? :?
