Has anyone come accross this, and if so ,how did you get round it?
Replacing the oil pump on my engine rebuild, only the new one has the inlet and outlet at a different angle to the old one. So the pipes wont fit, Have been told the new pump is the one now fitted, but how do i go about making the pipes fit ????????
Any help please , Jim

The new pump is a Perkins one, you may find that you have to modify the mounting as well. This is an other reason why I tell people it is not a Perkins engine.
You may find pipes at your local M-F Dealer or breakers, that can be modified to fit but if you bend them be careful not to crack or restrict them. I also remeber, from the dim and distant past, a fitting to change the angle.
