Re: Painting the County 654

Great Job, I am far behind with my 654  Where do you get the decalls for the tractor? They will be custom made by another friend of mine. I asked Mark Osbourne (Who have the stock of County-parts in UK), and the only one he got was the "Super-4" sticker for the back of the seat. Would it be po...

Re: 16.9 x r30 wanted

Do you need radials?
On our older tractors I am replacing with diagonals again.

16,9 x 30 starts at 430 €, where as radial starts at 630 € a tyre.

Re: Countys´ 1959 Major

We have harvest time right now, so there is not much time to restore the Major.
After a breakdown on our feeder tractor, I put the Major in front of the feederwagon to feed 150 head of cattle .
Works out really fine 8)

Re: Wet exhaust

Two signs that could show you a direction: the oil level is rising: unburned fuel goes into the oil system and parts of it goes with the exaustgas , an analysis of your motoroil shows you exactly what is added to the system, costs about 50 € each sample, but gives god advice. The oil consumtion is p...

Re: Super Major right rear bonnet bracket

Hi Dave, looks like you have seen them before :D I use these batterys on all out working fleet tractors (about 5) as replacement. They are very handy, a little bit more expensiv, but they don´t need any matainance! Only Thing they don´t like at all is a total unloading. That can destroy the batterie...

Pete I believe your horizontal bars are blue but my knowledge of these is only from pictures, as these are rarely seen in the US. If the grills are painted anything but silver the earth’s rotational axis will move slightly more out of position eventually leading to the end of the world as we know i...

Re: PTO driven Generator

Hallo Peter, the size of the generator depends on your power demand. To supply the demand of a normal privat house, 5 to 10 kVA should be ok. 1 kVA is pretty much the same as 1kW. The only bigger energie user in a house could be an electric water boiler . They ussualy need up to 21 kVA  Even ...

Hi Greg,

They glue the linnings .
I haven´t done it on my Major yet, but several times on agricultural Trailers, which usualy have airbrakes in Germany.
