It does not seem to make any difference if the clutch is held for a long time or not. The low/high gear works fine, it's really only the R,1,2,3 that has the problem.

How do I know if I got a live PTO model?

Got some problems getting into first and third gear. Some of teeth hitting teeth noises even with the clutch pedal fully depressed. Am I right to think I need to readjust the clutch release rod connection? And if so, how much would you suggest? Shorten by one turn? Two turns?

After doing some work on electrics my RPM indicator stopped working. Before I dismantle the whole tractor, what is the most obvious cause? Could the cable have slipped off the gauge?

Anybody any advise what oil to use in the bottom of the air filter? I assume it needs to be a light oil?

Can't anybody quickly measure the space to the front of the bonnet and to the center hinge? Please? Pretty please?

Changed the underframe exhaust with a vertical one so I will need to make a hole in the bonnet. Anybody got a clever trick that helps to decide where exactly to make it? Been fiddling with tape but that's not ideal.

Urghhhh, that's indeed not very service friendly, lol. I'll unscrew the fuel tank this evening and see if that helps. Thanks for the advice.

How the heck do I get that cable through the tube in the fuel tank? The cable itself might just fit, but the nut most certainly does not. Do I need to remove the steering column? Or dislodge the fuel tank?

So letting her work hard at max PTO rpm for a while will at least partially solve this issue (I got the same problem)?

What's the size of the ball bearings in the top steering box?
