Hi It sounds like the plungers in the pump are stuck or worn they may move side to side with the rack but are they going up and down the full travel. If you have fuel at the pipes or lack of fuel before the injector why would you fix injectors first. You may find the injectors are worn later ...

Thanks o great one. yes I guess if its a bitsa that would probably do it. I guess really something should be done with it as that bag over the breather spoils the tractor and without it it will stuff the paint. Its a bit of a catch 22 situation. Regards Robert

Hi Welcome to the fordson nut house thats a nice looking tractor. I was looking at the picture of the motor. Why do you have a plastic bag cable tied over the breather that looks like it is full of oil. If she is pushing that much oil out of the breather i think you may have a problem in the motor l...

Hi Mark Thanks for the update I was wondering if you had left the country for good. I have fitted those bushings before and cant remember them being that tight to strip the threads on a rod. I wonder if the outside diameter is a little on the tight side of the tollerance. On the subject of people no...

Looks like a good job but i am sad to see such a good major been used in this way what a waist :( To be honest there are so many of the old majors around I would rather somebody like Mark put a 6 in this Tractor and be happy with what he did and put it back to work. When I rebuild motors I warn my customers that they may need a new starter in a few weeks. I find with the rebuilt motor the compression is a lot higher and the strain on the starter will kill it in a short time if it's not 100%. So it could be that as stated before. I have rebuilt majors that start...

I would not pay 1250 pounds but thats my personal veiw . If somebody had all the parts laying around and time if the rest was good it would probably be a sensible priced tractor. Complete it could be worth a good bit more. Prices for the old tractors have risen since I left the U.K. I used to sell a...

Every thing over the 100 hp that i have ever heard of has spat the 11 clutch all over the inside of the bellhousing or ripped the centre ...
