Folks, thanks for the pointers. I think it got me over the parts hurdle. I'm heading out today to pull the pto (hopefully). I'm hoping its somewhat similar to my 8N. Thanks for the reply whirly. My problem is not that the pto won't turn it is that when I let out the clutch it stalls the tractor. I am looking for an exhaust manifold for a Major Diesel. From what I can tell this is a March 1959 FPM . The manifold has straight mounting holes. I can't find it from any aftermarket dealers. I'm on the US side of the pond so I may prefer options over here first but beggars can't be choosers. Phil
