Re: Super Major final drive ratio
Seems I've found the answer in that up until the NPSM, the final drive was the standard high road speed . Presumably at ,say, 1900rpm it should travel at about 18mph or there abouts ?? I'm planning a longish trip and every mph counts! Any ideas apart from ear protectors !

Super Major final drive ratio
I'm trying to check whether my 1961 Super Major has the standard or optional ratio. I recall that the latter had letters stamped somewhere on top of the transmission housing? Help appreciated !!

You need all the inside kit though but these replicate the 'keep pointer...' etc.. in red with a white segment and all the letterin...

Re: P6 wiring
You should have a yellow with black tracer feeding from the ammeter and a red back to the heater button. From there a black with blue tracer to the light switch. I guess you're making up your own loom? I found that the Autosparks cotton covered one spot on with all the right coloured wires. I can pr...

P6 oil pressure gauge
I'm starting to restore my 1948 P6 and need to source [amongst other odd bits] an oil pressure gauge. I'm in contact with a manufacturer who can remanufacture to the correct spec ie 2 1/4" body , centre feed etc., but I need a good pic of the face. Can anyone post a good photo showing the detail ple...
