Looking for a combined pto / pulley to fit a 1934 water washer n if anyone has come across one ?
I have a pto to fit the kidney plate which was available from 1936 but my n has no kidney plate so could maybe do a deal against a pulley

Hi Robert The mag drill came for free, I guess I was lucky to be in the right place at the right time as it was about to be thrown in the scrap pile, it's only crime ? it was no further use to the people who owned it, now has it's own space on a shelf and gets a good clean after use. regards Mike H

Thanks for taking the time on this, I have a magnetic drilling machine which should hold on with a little assistance I will now go and source a 17/32" fluted mill and tap it out for 5/8" UNC.
Fantastic having the Forum to get assistance when needed !

Thanks for the reply, I have the plate but was just using it for spacing the holes as I intend to fit a Cooke wood winch on the back of the tractor but the bolt size would be the same as when the top link plate was fitted.

I have a 1947 E27N which has never been drilled or threaded on the rear of the tractor to accept the top link bracket, can anyone please advise on the drill and taps sizes to be used to do the job ?

Has anyone any information on serial numbers for the Scottish Avaition Cab for the E27N as the ID plate attached to the small canvass pouch on the inside of my cab reads 7FM 2807 1 anyone got anything simmilar ?

Can anyone help dating a perkins P6 Engine ? Above the serial number are the letters HR then the number begins with 3R237700 any help greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Hi Hesford That would be great to see some pictures, I will check the winch for numbers in the morning, I think it will differ from the one you have as it bolts in place when the end cap is removed from the standard n, I will take a couple of photos of the winch I have and see if I can figure out ho...

Yes the very same, hopefully get the P6 in over the summer then I can start looking for a cast iron sawbench and the N can help with the log situation for the winter.

Thanks for the reply, have had a look at what you suggested but no luck there, I have however managed to secure an engine from another source, so now the challenge begins, hopefully I will find all the parts to do the conversion to my 1940 N
