Thanks Les, Thats is great to know. I found the filter look up page. One other question I see on Ebay there are basically 2 part numbers listed.. The EPN6731A and EPN6731B when I look them up on NAPA they are different part numbers and the one you mention (NAPA 1188) is tied to the B part number. Th...

Oil and Fuel Filter Replacements

I tore into my fuel system yesterday mainly to replace the lift pump (which fixed the fuel leaking excessively from the overflow tube). :D When I decided to go ahead and clean the fuel filter element after I removed it I noticed that it was way beyond cleaning and needed replacement. Low and behold ...

Larry, You could also check with: Helms Farm Machinery, LLP 162 Moore Road Sumter, SC 29153 803-428-3460 http://www.helmsequipment.com I have bought a couple items from them, very fast shipping and reasonable pricing on most items. Plus there are close, probably a little closer to you than me. Jeff

adjust the drag links to bring each mark into alignment
My marks are off a bit.

Should that adjustment be performed with the front end off the ground?

When I turn the steering wheel one tire is roughly where it should be but the other is way too far turned. I have had this problem since I got my Dexta, I have not torn into this section yet, as I'm working on re-wiring the whole tractor at the moment. I am very interested in what you find out Stra...

Serial Number

I finally cleaned, wire brushed and rubbed enough and found the serial number.

It is 09B700058

which now semi confuses me with the prefix being 09B does that mean 1962?
The 700058 is in the 1961 (Nov-Dec) range, but was there a 09B prefix in 61?
