Re: Front End Loader Control Valve
I inspected the hoses this mourning . One hose was miss positioned and had a tight bend on it . I must have pushed it around knocking over some trees . It is still a little slow but is working like it use to . There are two different diameter hoses on it and I think they need to be rotated . Thanks ...

Re: Front End Loader Control Valve
From what you all are saying is it is most likely a leaking seal , in one or both Rams . As far as the bucket it doesn't drop after the desired up tilt setting is achieved , it's just extremely slow to move loaded or unloaded . The front rams have ben replaced by someone in the tractors past . I nev...

Re: brake hangin up
It wasn't to bad . I have the outer disc off . There was a lot of cleaning and pre cleaning going on . One bolt for the fender required heat . I did have to remove a upper support bar or link for the backhoe attachment . I read in the manual the adjusting screw is snug then back out 1 1/2 turns . Wi...

Re: brake hangin up
I had a look and they are disc brakes . My problem is this tractor has a backhoe attachment . I can remove the outer inspection cover to inspect the brakes . But I don't see any way to remove the brake housing . It doesn't appear to have enough room to slide the housing off of the splines with the b...

Re: White Smoke Stalling Out
Installed the head 7/4/15 . The machine shop changed out the guides and cut the valves . He told me the valve seats were cupped . Re: White Smoke Stalling Out
Brain ; " It works through the valve train and, if used to try and start the engine, can cause push rods to jump out of position, bending them and in some cases, breaking rockers and bending valves. I have seen it many many times and would not wish that on anyone . " I can see this happening the pus...

I use fuel that's sold at a local gas station . I add Lucas fuel additive , a little Marvelous Mystery oil and a little auto trans fluid to the fuel . I add all this because the new fuels don't have the same lubricating properties that the older fuels had . I also run it with a full to 1/2 full fuel...
