Hi Jerry, Here in Michigan it is not uncommon to have temperatures of negative 15 degreesF/negative 25 degreesC in the winter. We had a few times where it was 10 degrees colder than that this past winter. I use the tractor to run a snowblower. It doesn't matter how good the engine is at those tempe...

Re: Logging

I'm impressed with your winch set-up for snaking log's to a collection point and better yet, places that you could not access with the tractor. Is the winch pto or hydraulic? Could you post another video with close-ups of the winch and it's operation? In year's past, it was child labor that pulled ...

Exhausttemp can be usefull to now but i think colanttemp is more importent.
On my super dexta the engineheater is atached just under the temperaturesensor.
I think the best idea for you is to buy a new aftermarket colanttemp gauge on for example agriline and drill a new hole for your engine heater.

Very interesting thanks for posting. Are the hydraulics running from a crank mounted pump or the original tractor hydraulics? I to was surprised how quick it all seemed slow engine revs. Do you stabilise the machine by dropping the nose onto the ground? I also notice that you appear to ajust the he...

The engine is constructed to do tough jobs at 540 PTO rpm. It should be a mark on your revcounter. That should be around 1800 crank rpm.

You can take a little oil on the service external knob shaft so it would not stuck.

Wanted: Lift arms with the extra hole for hitch pick-up

I have bought a hitch pick-up for my Super Dexta -64 but i need the special lift arms with the extra hole for the hitch pick-up. I think that the lift arms from 2000/3000 are the same as dexta so if you have a pair of them I'm intrested. If you have any tips of tractors in that can have them, let me...
