Rick, Thank you, I am also a Morris Register member but had not thought to follow that route, being an 8 owner. It had to be a Harry Edwards article! How many years have I not known the proper name...? The quadrant is still able to move so I need to check it with heat to see if it is only in the gea...

I have a calorimeter which I think is recoverable but cannot find either a company who can restore it (UK based preferably) or a description of how to dismantle it.
Any ideas would be most welcome.

Rear Wheels
It seems that the rear wheels on my E27 are not standard (the fronts are N type so I am beginning to wonder about its parentage). One suggestion I have been given is that they may be a home made set to convert it from steel wheels. This may explain the fronts being odd. Any info gratefully received....

HI, I am new to the forum, with a real barn find TVO/Petrol E27N. It has a solex carb on it which seems to be an after-market fitting, presumably for fuel economy. It was marketed or the system made by William Elliot of 48 High Street, Hawick. (Solex were French I believe?) I got it running for the ...
