The right side brake on my 64 super d seems to be seized , when I press the uncoupled pedal down it feels spongy but very very little actual braking. Any ideas on the cure for this welcome.

Before I dismantle the brake drums on my super dexta , what might the main reason be my brake pedal sticks in the down position when I brake ?
