Bearings were standard fare from a good bearing supplier.

I am sure i have done it without removing the shaft but cant remember how!!

Re: brake hangin up

You do not need to take off the whole brake housing. If you can get the cover off you than should be able to pull out the outer lined brake disc. Next you have to take out the actuator parts. after the actuator is out, you will get access to the inner lined brake disc. Make sure the splined bull pin...

Namely a good original exhaust mainfold and elbow. I would rather an original one rather than a new copy one if possible. Tha...

Re: wanted: oilsump for county super 6

I needed a new sump for my super 6 when i bought it, i can tell you now that it is a unique county only item, and it will be easier to find a super 6 weight than a sump.!!! Sorry.

Hi I think you might need to change the lights as well if you have the original fordson or power Major ones. super major lights that fit inside the grill are not as deep in the back to give clearance on the radiator and have diferent mounting brackets to alter the angle of the light and I am not su...

I dont think that you should use grease on the steel balls. This will make them more inclined to get covered in dust.

The front trunnion pin is only changed on the very last New performance super majors. The grey winged ones.
Earlier supers had same pin as all majors before.

In my opinion, yes. Good super 6's are £15/£20K tractors , the front weight is unique to them , i will try very hard to buy this if no-one else on here wants it.

Hi Sandy I really need one of those. It's the only big thing that's missing on mine, but the opening bid is more than I paid for the whole tractor. I can't even imagine how much it would cost to ship something that heavy to the US. I guess that I should try harder to find the Super 6 that's rumored...
