Re: Clutch Super Major wont loose

Hi, I could not log on for a while after I updated my email adres and my account got blocked. Thanks for the tips and I will use a pallet lift when I split the tracktor, the reason I wanted a trolly jack is that they are cheap and I can use it for other things as well once I am finished with the clu...

Re: Clutch Super Major wont loose

Thanks Adrian, I have found a oldtimer tractor club near where i live and I hope they can assess the damage once the tractor is split. I have seen some youtube films on how to do that, not sure if i dare to do it but I dont have a choice if I want to use the tractor again. Most of them use a jack on...

Clutch Super Major wont loose

Hi, I have not been active on this forum for some years as my ASP Super Major did not malfunction. But today after pushing back some dirt the clutch stopped working. I was working with the lift arms and had no gear in. Then I wanted to put it in to first gear but all that happend was a lot of grindi...

Re: Need some pictures, NP toplink bracket

Hi Brian,

Someone on the forum told me it was most probably a NP major, but if thats not the case, what is it then? I had to look a couple of times before I spotted the holes in the NP major. It is difficult to keep them appart :-)

Regards,
Rob.

Re: Need some pictures, NP toplink bracket

Thanks pat!

I did not see this one yet and I will bid on it :-)

It looks like it is not for a NP major but maybe it will fit, the bracket will anyhow.

Again, many thanks!

Re: Need some pictures, NP toplink bracket

Hi,

If anyone has some detailed pitures of the NP toplink bracket and or rocker, please dont hesitate to post them 8) I decided I will make the bracket myself and some pitures might help.

Kind regards,
Rob.

Re: Need some pictures.

The lower piece should not be a problem Liam, If you dont need the rocker I would realy like to have it, I want to make the tractor as complete as possible. You say that the lower bracket is easy to find but I have searched the entire internet a couple of times and looked in catalogs of different s...

Re: Need some pictures.

I dont think I will ever "need" draft control and I have thought about a bracket just to conect a toplink. The reason I wanted to build one is that I dont know if it is safe to use only one bracket without the link to the draft control (yoke ?) It seems that the forces are divided into two points an...

Need some pictures, NP toplink bracket

Hi, I am missing a part on the Super Major new performance I have and I can not find a spare one, new or used. So I want to build it myself. Unless all of you tell me this would be unwise  because it would not be strong enough. It is the peace you would normaly connect the top link to. I have ...

Re: 3 point Hitch parts needed.

@Henk, This a nice site with clear pitures and good info however, it does not give the lenght of the lower link arms. If I buy some arms of whatever brand it might be good to know the maximum and minimum that fit on the tractor. At least I know now how they look like  @Roadless63 Thanks for the...

Re: Hydraulics not working

Well Robert, That the lift works is mainly because you wrote that your lift did not work untill you cleaned the unload valve, AND the symptons were the same as mine. And of course your quick replay's on this forum :-) But also others who identified the unload valve as suspisious. So, two more fordso...

The 3/8 UNF bold came out of the plug, threads and all  But then I took a M10 tap because I did not have a M12 and tapped the thread, took a M10 bold, a 25MM wrench to serve as a bus and to my suprise the plug came loose and I was able to get the valve...

Re: Hydraulics not working

There are some spare parts but new but it will get more and more difficult to get new parts. On the other hand, is it not possible to make some of the parts like the valves if you have a turning machine? Here in holland I can not find 3/8 UNF bolts in small quantities, today I called and searched th...

Super Major auxillary service unit wanted.

Hi,

The lift on my (ASP) super major does not work and almost a year ago Brian told me to switch the Auxillary service unit to see if thats the problem.
Does anyone have a working unit for sale and if so, for how much?

Many thanks in advance,

Rob.
