Thanks for the advice guys, I've given the seal and bearings a good dose of oil and assembled the crank and pistons and everything seems to be turning okay!

Ah right thanks, yeah it did. I soaked the ropes in oil for a few hours before hand and fitted them okay, i just wasn't sure how free the crank should be, i guess I've fitted them okay though. Thanks again

Ahh okay, I'm going to give it a good clean up first then replace the seals, I will be replace the rope seal on the crankshaft when I build the engine back up as well.

Hi there, Recently I split my Super Dexta to rebuild the engine. Upon splitting the tractor I found thick oil residue on the inside of the bell housing and both clutch plates were soaked in oil.
