I just discovered that there should be a starting handle dog on the end of the crank shaft pulley that the starting handle shaft engages with when pushed in. Mine just has a plain retainer with a hex head. Does anyone know where to find the starting handle dog and how it is fitted to the crank shaft...

Hi, I am trying to access the unloading valve on my 1962 super major, and would like to conform the thread size and type of the hole in the unloading valve plug. Hi Emiel, The plug I am referring to is on the lift cylinder next to the main control valve and has a threaded hole which I need to insert a bolt with suitable packing such that when I screw it in, I can jack the plug out. Injector Pipe Leak
I have a 1962 Super major with the Minimec injector pump, and am frustrated with the no. 4 injector pipe leaking at the union at the cylinder head. I have tried tightening the union but to no avail. Can anyone describe how to fix this leak. It is resulting in fuel seeping down the side of my engine....

Thanks Brian. My Major has had the intake manifold modified such that the exhaust section has been cut off and a diesel exhaust manifold has been fitted.
