Re: Stuck Engine Part II
It was a good advise from Jerry except that you don't need to split tractor for sump removal. If you have some clearancin the bearings that could make that movement on the crankshaft even if a piston is seized,

Re: Hydraulic remote help
It's quite easy. Take out theplug you have marked "1" and screw in a 1/2" pipe connection of some sort. when you use it, pull out the knob you have marked 2 activate the external service and use it by operating the main handle.

Hello
Yes you need to have the same ratio. I guess roadless used different gears inside the gearbox to solve that

That was done on that side before I got it. I've thought about cutting it away because I think it's ugly. there is no need to have it there because of strenght.

Re: More on Stabiliser bars
Yes it is about 3/4 of the lenght. I haven't slot for slight movement just because I don't need it. I made the holes with 2mm different distance on the outer and inner bar. almost like the grading on a calyper. You can see a picture of it here http://ogtf.net/?fordson-dexta-4wd,27

I guess this shaft is ment for implement with need for less torque. what you need is a shaft with security pin that snap in case of overload.

Re: Brake Drum Won't Come OFF
first of all-- The holes in the backing plate is ment to be too big for the shaft. That is because the brake shoes is "floating" at that end. This will give you "leading shoes" in both directions. Only the springs holds the shoes sentered whilst brakes not applied. I suggest you make another effort ...

First of all add some diesel in the tank. next: open the bleeder on the top of fuel filter and pump with the handle on feedpump.when all the air is gone there, close it and open the bleeder on the main fuelpump and continue pumping. once the air is gone close it. If you have a cold start button, pre...

Re: What is this for?
The knob is ment to adjust the speed of lifting. So when you keep the plough or similar in the ground you can adjust how quick the3pl responce to corrections. When you want to lift it out of the ground you pull the handle right to the top wich will move the linkage and then you lift with maximum spe...

Re: Left trumpet housing
I guess it is ment to support the crown wheel when heavy load. I can't find it mentioned in the workshop handbook, but I suggest you take out the crown wheel and place it in the trumpet and measure the distance between it and the block. However-- I wouldn't bother.
