Re: Dexta fuel tank.

If the bottom of the tank is full of holes, you can soldering on pieces of sheetmetal, use hardsoldering or cuppersoldering.
Is often more efficient than trying to fit a bad retrofit.

Alternatively, go to a car-body repair, they might be able to help you in that.

Re: 15 years ago.

Sandy,
I think (not sure anymore) that was a Fordson owned by Emiel when the first Fordson club met at Meddo (Wnterswijk) back in 2006.
Henk, Emiel, Brian and the initiator of this site.. Oscar.

Re: tyre psi

on 19" rims the pressure has to be 34 PSI / 42 PSi when front wheel weights)
on 16" rims the pressure has to be 20 PSI / 26 PSi when front wheel weights)
The difference between the 6.00 and 5.50 tyres is neglectible.

Re: inboard or outboard lights?

Could be a retro-fit or the external lights were easier to get.
No matter the building year, the bonnet still has these holes so is foreseen to have the side-lights fitted.

Lights used for side mounting : Left Hand = 957E-13003 / Right Hand = 957E-13002

Lights used for mounting inside grill : LH = RH = D2NN-13005

These headlights are not that thick but are still sticking out of the grill.

I was lucky to find original grill mounted head-lamps.

Mark, something strange on the entire lay-out. Looking to my Dexta, the top surface of the front cowl is nicely horizontal. This makses the cowl to look a little bit tilting foreward. Looking to your pictures, the upper surface of te cowl is running downwards (direction driverseat) ... First guess w...

Re: Dexta sidelights - old and new

depending on the locaI regulations (so this is for Belgium only !):
Agricultural equipment (slower than 30km/hr) do not need braking lights
So I used the 2nd light to have direction indicators ! (the 21 W for the direction indicators and the 6W as driving light)
