Super Dexta Spitting Oil

Hi, not been on here for a while. My '64 super dexta had its engine rebuilt a few years ago and has done very little ever since until recently when I've been using her more withmy new toy, log splitter. Over the last week she's started spitting oil out from the exhaust manifold, not sure it's coming...

Super Dexta Panels, T&M Page 152 this month

Has anyone noticed the bonnet and nosecone on the Super Dexta "Tried and Tested" in the Oct 2010 Tractor & Machinery Mag??

The bonnet seems to be a normal dexta and the nosecone looks like a combination of a standard dexta and a super!! All seems a little odd to me.

I've not attached the forward latch properly yet, infact not even sure it was fitted when i took the photo. Its more the bonnet to nose contour that i was trying to get right. Yes its an original bonnet.

Hi all, Well I now have a 3rd nosecone from Agriline complete with pictures of it fitted to a tractor before they sent it to me. I trial fitted it lastnight and its miles better than the other 2 i'd previously tried. Pics below are of it trial fitted to my tractor. Just means i need to get it spraye...

mine is straight on the top as I believe it should be.

However my original wasn't but i do believe a large object, or person, had been dropped on it causing it to go like that.!

I used Agriline's Empire Blue on my New Performance Super Dexta and it looks good to me, it seems to be a lighter blue which apparently the later dexta's were.

russellm, I had exactly the same work done and paid similar prices and a local engine repair machine shop. Think I got the block cleaned aswell in with the price. Pretty sure i paid between £300 - £350. The place did race engines, when I gave then the bore tolerances out of the workshop the guy said...

I have done some tweaking where the nose mounts to the front which helped but nothing accounts for the blatantly mis-shaped radius on the nosecone itself. Had a succesful weekend at the show but broke down on the way home. Driver Error :) I'd forgotten to turn the fuel tap back on so ran dry and air...

Had a fiddle with the bonnet and nose lastnight, managed to get one side to fit alot better however the opening side is still miles out! It'll have to do for the Great Eccleston Show this weekend and wait for Agriline to decide if they have a suitable replacement.

hi Supertractorman, I'm going to attempt to jig things about a bit tomorrow evening hopefully but the radius on on side is blatantly different to the other so i'm not holding my breath. Agriline have got back to me and would like me to return bth Nosecones and they are going to check what they've go...

When I registered my fergie a while ago the inspector from my local office (Preston) wouldn't come out to me, I had to go to him but because i'd have to trailer it there I couldn't take it to the office due to space so i had to take it to the HGV test centre instead and he met me there! I included p...

Hi, If you follow the link Ben has put up to my starter problems you'll see the trouble i went to. In the end it was all down to good cables and earths that sorted the problem,oh and a starter rebuild but i'd do this as a last resort. I removed the starter and ground the faces between it and the bel...
