I just replaced my starter with a solinoid style one i found on amazon. It has the 10 tooth not the original 11 tooth. Works fine. My old one was the same. The previous owner replaced it and got rid of the handle.... well my push button to stsrt it froze up the other dayand chewed the starter apart....

My wiring was completely toasted. And hacked to peices. My major is not origonal. It is fited with a loader and i built power steering for it to make it possible to steer. So an alternator didnt bother me.

Ive rewired my tractor and i run a gm alternator with internal regulator.. my local tractor shop tested my injectors last fall and said there good. I am also going to replace tbe diaphram aswell. And i am in the process of rebuilding the shutoff leaver as the rod is wore to a half circle. I will see...

Doesnt look too hard to repair u might be able to weld a washer to back side.... not much to go wrong in there. So i noticed the other day that my drive for my injection pump had some slop in it.(about 1/16). So i ordered a new one. I just did the same. i used a gm power steering pump off an old truck. And an orbitol valve the father in law found. The column bolted fairly simply to the orbitol. i will get some pics next time im out working on it. Just waiting on new seals for my loader and cylinders.... way nicer to steer now

Well i ended up buying devcon and putting it on. I know i should have pulled the liners and put it in the oring grooves and then put it all back togetherbut i just put it on the outside for now. It apears as thougb it has stopped leaki g. I had it hold pressure for a few hours i have it all back tog...

Well as some of you know i just redid the pistons sleeves and orings. So ichecked the oil on saturday while messing aroundwith the leveling device for the 3point hitch. Well i had coolant in my oil. Well finally after 2 days of me and the father in law wrenching and drinking it runs! Just double checking the numbers
Rings are gapped to between .110 and .060 ? The reason i am checking is i just checked the first ring and its .014 so thats way off spec

Finally got it!
I made up an alingnment tool for when i put the clutch back on..... i fought for another 2.5 hiurs but did get it....thank goidness iwas getting fruaterated.... tomorrow i measure for piston sleeve shims
