Re: Ransome TS82
That’s for the reply Oehrick! So what your saying is the depth wheel is basically optional and isn’t going to mess things up on a super ? I think a set of disks would be a good idea as we do a three year rotation on clover fields so would probably be a good idea to cut the ground to make a tidier jo...

Ransome TS82
Afternoon all, I have just been offered a Ransome TS82 2 furrow reversible. It doesn’t look like new but has been dry stored. All the frame work is good and there is enough life left in the moleboards etc that they will be good for another few seasons. My question is that I intend to use it behind m...

Re: Wheel strakes
Thanks Shepp, I’m wanting to put them on for work, we have a few fields that are fairly wet and the access isn’t big enough for the 10Ton fendt so thought I would give the old girl an annual job. Unfortunately the strakes at the neighbours didn’t fit, they only had 4 mounting points instead of 5. Th...

Number plate lamp
Hi All,
I am looking at getting a number plate lamp and bracket to go on the back of my super major. Question is where does it attach to the tractor please ? Can’t find any pictures or info online.
Some say behind the seat attached to it and other say below the top link bracket
Many thanks

Widen fordson super major
Evening all, I recently got a new super major (1961). I usually run international Farmalls that when you want to widen it to it a specific width of tramline you just slide the front axle out and extend the necessary components much like the front of the fordson. HOWEVER my problem is..... with the F...
