Those are part nos 591E-6060C (RH) and 591E-6031C (LH). Can't really help you there, you could try to measure it off a tractor plate and this one. Early mid August 66 engine. You could always swap it with a tractor one too. This one is 591E-6030B, corresponding to E1ADDN-6030A.

Only two gearboxes existed, they changed at 957E-63953. Super Dexta's have a different crown wheel and pinion ratio which makes them faster. No special fast ratios were made, certain countries blocked some fast gears to limit the top speed.

That play is common but it shouldn't be there. The belt when new can somtimes require the dynamo to be removed from its front mounting to fit, but once over all three pulleys there will be plenty of space for it. It'll strech initially very quickly.

Leaving the seal not fully seated is a common trick, but it doesn't tend to last well, for the seal isn't designed for such use and there are many pulleys (not your case) that have pitting which will wear away the seal in no time. Watch your front axle, it might well not take the relocation.

Is it a new one? If so I'm not surprised, repro quality is poor. If it's genuine it should take a fair load, but if you put your weight on it when getting on it can happen, for they weren't expected to take much weight, only torque for steering.

I would agree it looks clean. A bit surprised the sump hasn't got red oxide on it but maybe it was cleaned very aggressively. The belt length is 42.9".

Very good points here. Even with that in mind fuel consumption will be an issue, these engines at best empty a tank in just a day of work (compared to a whole week for the diesel ones, and with a spare gallon still left).
