Easiest way to hand turn Dexta engine
Hi all, Since I believe it is a long time ago since somebody done it, I want to check the valve clearance. Only thing is, what is the easiest way to turn the engine over by hand? I couldn't find the bolt on the pulley with my hand so far and the small hole in the nose cone isn't accesable as well. I...

Re: Hydraulics issue
Haven't had the time to play with the heavy weight, but so far so good.
With the new hydraulics block the front does have more power, hopefully enough to lift the same amount as it used to do.

Re: Hydraulics issue
Got the old girl back together.
Couldn't find the parts for the hydraulics block so replaced it with a new one.
Only thing I haven't tested yet is the strenght of the front loader, will test it this monday.

Re: Hydraulics issue
This is the one.
Pushing it in makes the rear lift work, pulling it out starts the front. But only with the hight ajustment pulled up.

Re: Hydraulics issue
Looked a bit further then my nose is.
Should I remove the hydraulics control that is under the seat?
And the valve is in there?
The front loader did lift 450/500 kilo's max before the trouble started.

Re: Hydraulics issue
Where can I find it?
I didn't change it, before I got the Dexta they only used the hydraulics on the front and the weight on the back was always hanging on and couldn't get the rear working again until I changed the top cover because the whole mechanism was stuck.

Re: Hydraulics issue
Sounds like an option.
That is in the handle you move around?
I'm no expert either zo happy with all reactions I get
Done a lot of work on the Dexta, but with a lot of information from the internet.

Re: Hydraulics issue
Forgot to mention, the rear lift is working like it should and is strong as well. (lifts the back weight without any problem, but lifting the same weight standing on a pallet and with the front loader it can't lift it)

Re: Hydraulics issue
The seals on the auxilary control and top cover are new and not leaking.
Could be that one or two O-rings are out of place, but with fluid seal and no leaks that looks okay to me?

Hydraulics issue
I'm having a problem with the hydraulics and hope you guys can help me. About a month ago I changed the hydraulic lift cover for another one to make the rear lift working again on my narow Dexta. Only to find out later on that the front lift lost power since then. Changed the oil, about 12-13 litres...

Re: Dexta rear lift leaver stuck in top position
In our case the tractor was used for the front loader and they used a big weight. But could be that they've secured it knowing something was wrong. The weight lands on the security and when you switch the pto to the lift it at least goes up. Using the front loader everything works zo my gues is that...

Re: Dexta rear lift leaver stuck in top position
They've made a security for the arms to rest in and keep the weight up.
In a short I will need the Dexta for the front loader, after that I will remove the security and will see what happens
Thanks for the quick reactions!

Re: Dexta rear lift leaver stuck in top position
I've already tried it with the nut loosened, but it didn't change anything.
Can I lift the top cover off with the weight still in the lift?
Otherwise I can find out if gravity will make it go down.

Dexta rear lift leaver stuck in top position
Hi all, Since a week of 3 I own a narow Dexta from 1960 with a front loader and I'm having a problem with the rear lift of the tractor. Because of the front loader the Dexta has a weight hanging in the rear lift and I'm thninking since it almost never has been used after hanging the weight on the re...
