Hi All, I have finally had an opportunity to do some work on the seized L/H brake, after successfully removing the foot plate, I was able to remove the brake cover and the outer brake disc, I then started looking closer at the exploded view in my workshop manual, and it shows a number of steel balls...

Mmmmmmm not good I did all of the above mentioned and ended up breaking the ball off of the end not sure what to do next I guess I will be able to get it all apart ?

My FSM has the same problem I went to remove the gear lever assembly and it didn't come straight out feels like there is pressure holding it in I suspect that it is still in gear any clues as to what I can do next
