Model N fuel tank and age
I'm still trying to work out how to post pictures ! The air cleaner is an oil bath, not water, and the manifold is not correct, it has an E27N manifold fitted , otherwise everything looks genuine.

I have a wide wing model N serial number P34825 and would like to know its age. I have the fuel tank off to clean out and de rust and notice that one end it says "Ford Motor Company. England. Made in England. The other end it says : Ford motor company, England. made in the Irish free state. What is ...

Thanks Brian, It worked a treat, I'm polishing the valve right now, it was not very corroded so I hope that was the problem, we'll see when I get it back together.

I have the top cover off and upside down on the ground. I am trying to free the unloading valve but so far have not been able to remove it from the casting. I have the same problem with my super major as wee blue tractor fan (Oct18th 09), before I start lifting the top cover is there anything that should be disconected on the inside......I damaged a grey fergy a few years ago by trying to lift the top cover without undoing the forks over the pto sha...
