Hi all My friends tractor had badly contaminated milky oil so we took the head off and the gasket and head appear to be ok. However the block definately has two cracks in it. I don't know about the USA but over here you would have to go through your energy supplier as they are the only people who can work on there side of the electrics, Also they would buy the electric of you. But i don't think there would be much left over from 6KVA

Cheers ian, i used a gasket from agrline. I would of thought if it was a bad seal with a new gasket then it would dribble a little. This is running out. I cleaned all surfaces up well as you can see in the second picture

The tyres are designed to go better in one direction (forward) if you do most of your work in reverse swap your tyres over. Or maybe you need a new set of tyre. How worn are they

I had this problem last week, i just eyed up the first plate stuck a round bar in the middle to eye up the second. Then put it back turning the fly wheel a little as i went. Just Lucky i guess

Looks like you've done a great job there. Nice tinwork on the tractor too. So i need to turn the fly wheel around and look through the spy hole for the timing mark then the lines should then line up on the pump drive coupling. but where are the Deg. No. Markings ...
