Progress has been made on this Ford 4000 as can be seen I am enjoying the project it's making a nice change from the MF tractors I get to do normally

This feeds the heater plug with diesel, it doesn't look standard - can anyone help, it will probably stay on as it seems to work.

I thought that was the case I may suggest going through the selector plate as it's got to be moved and we were going to drag it with his jcb and get parked up by his workshop

I had an idea it wasn't Empire I will have a look in the Vapomatic range of paints, I will fit 7.50 front tyres I think as it will look better on the bigger ones

A few questions about this tractor What Blue is needed? Empire? Are the wings White? New tyres are required all round 11/36 rears? but what for the front there on 6.00/16 which look a little small And should the decals read Ford Major up by the tank and have the 4000 sticker on the side of the front...

The DPA will meter the same amount of fuel to each injector so you should not have different amounts to each injector, the pump should have been tested and the delivery amounts measured on the rig. Wonder if you have problems with the pre heat coils or even the injectors themselves. There should be...

Norfolk Farmer George Hodge

I am quite a fan of The Crown Of The Year a DVD with a collection of 4 short films charting the different seasons in the farming year from 1941/2 in the final section they show a Norfolk farmer by the name of George Hodge, does anyone know anything of him?
