Re: Power major 6 cylinder conversion

Woodcutter, thanks for the info.

Found the problem on my tractor. The radiator wasn't fully free. I Cleaned it, now the problem is over.

I am thinking about selling the tractor. I just don't use it enough to keep it.

battery tray /firewall power major

Does anybody have pictures of the set up for the battery tray / firewall of the power major. I'm finished with my paint works and i'm assembling the tractor. In my opinion the battery tray and firewall can only fit in one position, but if I place them this way, the firewall is approx. 2,5cm too high...

Re: Pascals gearbox rebuild

Hi Pascal, Good to hear that you found the broken bearings, When I replaced several bearings from the gearbox, I ordered bearings from NSK, they were a lot cheaper than SKF bearings and is also a good quality bearing. If you need cilindrical roller bearings you need to pay attention to the version o...

Hi pascal, I have rebuild my gearbox also and if I look at yours I cannot see something strange on first sight. Can you slide the gears by hand in the gearbox? Re: Clutch assembly

Thanks for the nice comments everybody. The oil pressure is indeed measured in PSI. When I first started the engine it was about 50PSI, it then dropped to 35PSI with a litlle bit of throttle. When the engine is running at stationary it is about 15PSI, is this too low? I have ordered a new nose cone ...

Is the sediment glass connected properly? I have also a sediment bowl, but mine has an arrow for the right direction, mine flows from right to left otherwise than how you connected it. I don't know if this could be a problem?

Let us know when you found it, good luck.
