Re: Looking for a new or used atomizer

I will post a picture if I can remember how? I found that a rough spray will ignite if it is directed towards the hot coil, but a single smooth...

Tim,
Sounds like you might have a governor problem. Do you have a pneumatic or mechanical governor? If it's pneumatic, the diaphragm might be leaking or the spring is weak.

Re: How do you tell if a 3 cylinder Perkins is 144" to 152"?

Reading your previous post. Engine serial # begins with 16. This would indicate a 152. 144s begin with lower #s like 15 or14

The type is common to quite a few tractors, including apparently the later Dexta. I might have to get creative with that old cable
I have a 64 Super Dexta and my cable looks just like your existing one.

Re: Super dexta fuel pipework

it maybe that i have an incorrect fuel pump as there is no where to attach the pipe from pump to inlet manifold
Mosside,
The pipe to the air intake comes from the primer bulb on the fuel tap under the fuel tank.It does not go to the lift pump. :D

Maybe a bad switch on the top of your starter that energizes the solenoid ? Have you checked that you have voltage to one side of the switch when the key is on? If so, is it getting thru to the solenoid when you activate the starter lever?
