Re: Fordson F Fuel Tank Damaged with dents in Carb area
My fuel tank has a large dented area bashed into it in the same place. When I got the Tractor it had a Stromberg Carb on it which would've hit the fuel tank if not for the dent. I think they put the Stromberg on to get more revs out of the old tractor. I bashed most of the dent out with a piece of t...

Re: New spark in her step
Great job Cal, got any photos of the WICO?
I've got a spare RF4, I'd love to know how to test it and rebuild it if it needed. Any tips you can give me? Never done anything like this before but hey you've gotta start somewhere.

Radiator throttle control
Hi everyone, currently on ebay Australia there is an E27N which has a throttle control rod which goes forward right up to the side of the radiator. This throttle control appears to be made from about 1/4" rod with a loop for a handle. Can anyone shed a bit more info on this rod for me. What was it p...

G'day MH55k
I'm pretty sure I've got a gear stick knob, will look tomorrow if you still need it.
Got gaurds too but live near Toowoomba QLD, transport would be expensive.
Will PM you tomorrow

Re: Fitted a snow plow to te E27n
Looks good CalGG,
Would you be able to upload a nice close up photo of those front tyres? Would love to know the brand, I reckon they the goods on the major.
Haven't done much to Henry (my '49 Major) for a couple of months but have it jacked up at the moment to put new rubber on the fronts.

Re: How to remove temp gauge/calormeter
Well I think I may have broken it... The top meter part turned on the thread rather than the thread screwing out of the radiator. There is a nut on the threaded section between the meter and the radiator, I thought maybe I could screw it out with this butting against the meter but she's lockef in th...

Does it simply screw out? I cah twist it a tiny bit left to right but it won't budge...
Thanks guys?

Hi, I am up to starting the wiring on the e27n and am just wondering what exactly the light swich does (other than turn the lights on)... Re: E27N's Rear Wheel Differences in Australia
Mine are 28's as well. I noticed they are very similar to Aussie Franks 51 but the "handle things" are a different shape. By the way, what are those handle things for? Are they just to hold the wheel to put it on and off or is there another use for them? I believe my tractor was sold new local here ...

Main Bearing Adjustment
Hi, recently I have been adjusting the main bearings on the E27N by removing shims. My question is when I remove shims the motor is very hard to get to turn using the crank handle BUT once it gets spinning you can easily keep it turning using one hand only. It's just the initial getting it to move w...
