The engine has to be in top condition for that price. Over here a working six cylinder engine is normally only half of that price.

I have a 27kW 3 phase generator just in case of a powerfailure, but to produce power for own use is not cheap. The only way it could be worth trying is to use the Lister a few hours a day to power equipment that needs the most power and simultaneously charge some large batterys with a 12 or 24V gene...

First of all, you can´t produce electrical power with that generator to a price that gives you any profit if you sell it to a powercompany.

It will not fit. The engines are to different in that area, oilpump etc.

Still confused about lack of power when reversing. Again, when I plow in reverse the tractor has no pushing power. A modest amount of snow will stop the tractor. The left wheel will just spin, while the right does not move. No problem going forwards, pulling a large quantity of snow. Anyone care to...

Hi Grani, Two times 110Ah? I'm impressed!! What do you prefer: an 70Ah battery with extra starterpower or a regular 90 - 100Ah battery? I have trouble choosing which will be best for mine. Chose a battery that fits in the space for the battery. I had to make an extra batteryholder for the ...

What kind of battery (how many Amperes?) you have in your tractor to get it started in the cold? I have 2*110Ah but it is not nessesary to have so big batteries, i just happen to have a lot of them, thats why. The 590E engine starts easy with a single 60Ah battery if it is in good condition. I have...

The difference that shows the most is that Selene has long bolts from the gearbox through the transferbox and all the way to the rear axle unit. The Roadless tranferbox has separate bolts for the gearbox and for the rear axle unit. Roadless transferbox lengthens the tractor more than the Selene unit...

It looks like a Selene transferbox to me. The friction unit is on the propellershaft on a Selene and on the transfer flange on a Roadless. :?

Welcome to this board. I hope the double clutch can stand the power of that engine. :? A single 13" had been a better choice.

Hi Grani, Do you change your tyres for the winter period? If so are they studded or just chunky treaded. A lot of drivers in the UK have never driven in conditions like this as it was 28 years since our last prolonged cold spell. I assume that everyone is used to driving in snow and ice in your par...
