I don't know if this is a rare hand brake or not. I have one for my Dexta and it has a brass plate identifying it as made by Western Engineering from Delabole in North Cornwall. It comes with a replacement brake rod that the hand brake lever attaches to and is fixed to the bolts that hold the gearbo...

Swinging draw bar
I have managed to piece together the main parts of a swinging draw bar assembly however there are a few pins that I need to be able to use it. I am after the pivot pin that holds the draw bar in place part no 957e-4727, the adjusting pins and clips part no 957e-4737 and 113814-es and support bracket...

Asbestos fire wall
Hi all, I am currently preparing the metal work ready to paint. I have removed the asbestos fire wall from the bulk head to clean off and paint but don't no if I should put the asbestos back on. I don't want to rub the asbestos down for obvious reasons but I also don't want to put something that loo...

Re: Restoration (respray) opinions
The only clear coat that would be most likely not to react would be 2 pack as it has very low concentrations of thinners. You usually only use clear coat on top of base Coats as these are a Matt finish. On the tin work I would lightly flatten with 600 grade wet and dry then apply 2 good coats of the...

Re: Water leak
It could be head gasket but first make sure the combustion chamber caps are not leaking. When these don't seal properly you can get liquid bubbling from them. The replacement gaskets aren't very good I took mine off and used a bit of exhaust sealing paste to help seal them and they have been fine ev...
