Ok Im back on the case with this but sadly since the forum move, the link is broken and i'm no further forward

I run a 57, 58 power and a 61 super, both the the air guvernor tractors seem to have more grunt than the 61super and Ive just assumed it was a fault with the pump ? It doesent smoke any more than the others though, but I think all of them would struggle with a load in top gear on a hill

I dont mean to state the obvious, but I take it all the linkages are lubricated and free, as the 'z' type links sit below the footplate and are prone to getting a lot of water and mud on them, I have to strip mine off and clean them up every couple of years on my 62 Sm

Thats an interesting gear box Frans .. looks like it has an extra section in it ?

To the OP Im sorry .. all my majors have hand brakes, but I never use them. always just the park brake so Ive never had one off either
