Hi all,
Have another question for you all. What oil should i put in my engine and transmission as well. My N is a 1942 petrol so guessing that makes it a high compression engine.
many thanks

Fordson N PTO and Pulley
Hi All,
Quick question, my fordson n Has a PTO fitted straight out of the gear box. What i was wondering is, is it possible to fit a Pulley as well as i do have the blanking plate over where the pulley would be.
Many thanks
Buster

BUMP..... No one got any old tyres lying about don't mind if they are heavily worn, just would rather older tread pattern then modern ones.

Re: Petrol/paraffin
Thanks everyone for all the help. Was chatting to a friends of mine father who has some tractors. Asked him what he ran and he said he uses normal parafin with some 2-stroke oil in it, as it wont seperate up. what do you guys think to that?

Hi all,
What is the correct starting procedure for a fordson n, guessing it would say in a manual if someone happens to have one.

Petrol/paraffin
Hi all,
Im new to this forum so please bear with me. I have a quick question. If a tractor is petrol/paraffin, can you run it on either or is one just for starting the engine then you switch over to the other?
Sorry about the (what im guessing) simple question.
