The pump should fit.i have the exact same pump on my 1960 power major.be aware though that when i had to change the pump recently i was told that the p4685 pumps weren't the correct pumps for tractors and don't have a rev counter drive on them.

Dont mind revealing cost at all.they charged me £390 including vat for an exchange pump.they told me they have hundreds of pumps on the shelf so should be able to sort you out.probably be best to call them with your pump details to get a price.their phone number is 01522 788295.

Update on my power major.
Got a fully reconditioned pump from Brant diesel injection near newark on trent last week(8th of feb).fitted it today in about 1 1/2 hours including bleeding the system and at last she runs.

simms fuel injection pump
hi all i posted a message about a month ago about my power major not starting and received 4 replies.i have since had a peek inside and it is not a pretty sight (can't work out how to add photo's).i think a re-conditioned fuel pump is needed.my question is do i need to fit the same pump type-current...

Hi Sorry for not posting replies sooner,but we have been really busy with our chickens and ducks due to the avian bird flu alerts. I have had a look inside the fuel injection pump and it was not a pretty sight.it was full of a mix of dirty water and diesel so i think a re-conditioned pump is needed....

hi all my 1960 diesel power major wont fire up.the battery is fully charged but she wont spring into life.i suspect it is a fuel problem.i have loosened the pipe from the fuel filter housing where it enters the injection pump and fuel comes out from the pipe.it also comes from the bleed bolt on the ...

roll bar mountings
i have a roll bar for my power major but it did not have any mounting bolts when i got it.what thread are the mounting holes in the rear axle and does anybody know where i could get the correct size bolts from?

hi, i am after some help with my power major.i recently achieved a boyhood dream and bought a tractor. :).I tried to attach a topper to it today to cut the now very long grass but when i operated the lever to the right of the seat the arms dropped a little then wouldn't move up or down.am i doing so...
