Re: The fordsontractorpages World Tour

I know what it feels like to leave Oz, Brian. Done it 3 times. I vividly remember the last time. After taking off from Sydney's Kingsford Smith airport, we flew straight across the continent. The weather was crystal clear so I had a good view from the window. After about 4 hours of flight, the land ...

March 29, 2011 - Forum back up after technical problem

Dear Fordson fan, Our hosting company has moved their servers to a new location. Hosting providers have contracts with data centers, and our provider struck a new contract, so all the websites that they host (including ours) had to be moved. During that process, our forum crashed. For a wile things ...

Re: Calling New Zealand

I never knew that NZ was so susceptible to quakes. The photos and film footage I have seen so far are shocking. All the best to all affected, hang in there.

RIP Gary Moore

http://www.axebay.com/blog/images/garymoore.jpg Some of you may know about my love for the guitar, some may not. I am saddened by the sudden death of the amazing Gary Moore. He was one of those guys who could move me to the bone with just one note. He went waayyyy before his time at just 58 years o...

Re: Where is Brian?

Brian and I are both in a period where our regular day job consumes all our time (and then some). Happens to all of us at some point, nothing to worry about :D . JC and Kiwi Kev run the place in the mean time, so make sure to remain friends with them :buddies: .

Cheers!

Re: Wiki Shortcut

Some people seem to think that we put a password on the Wiki for the sake of being obnoxious, but the cold, hard reality is that without a password all the content in the Wiki would be replaced by advertisements for illegal substances, surgical changes to the male anatomy and various other services ...

Re: Avatar

I'm still struggling with the avatar settings. As far as I can see, all settings are OK but as you have noticed it is not yet possible to put an avatar in your profile. I have no idea why, but wil, keep working on it. Could take a while.

Re: Slow sites loading this forum

What means the little red stars you see on some topics at the forum index? The little stars indicate a popular discussion, with more than a certain number of replies in it. These forums sites are very slow compared to others on the net. I've been thinking about this for a bit. Forums are super-dyna...

Re: Slow sites loading this forum

Has anyone else got problems when you "Post replys" that you end up with "Cannot find server or DNS error"? :scratchhead: TSG. I sincerely hope not :eyes: . That message occurs when an internet address is not coupled to a server's IP address, or if the whole server is down. But if the server were d...

Re: Slow sites loading this forum

I notice that the profile pictures no longer show up. Is this permanent or are they coming back? I'm not completely sure which pictures you mean. If something did not get moved from the old forum to the new one, then I can probably do it manually. Which pictures are you referring to? Regards, Oscar

Re: Slow sites loading this forum

Performance issues are one of the reasons that I upgraded the forum software. Both my own instincts and the server logs indicate that the new forum performs better  . Bear in mind that the server on which the site is hosted is based in Holland and there could be many reasons why a website s...

That trailer is enourmous, it dwarfs that Fendt. I don't see how one could drive that thing through town safely, I mean that rear end will swing around like crazy when going around a tight curve.
