Naildriver I've got a Ford two bottom 14" plough for mine, it works real good. I've got my back wheels loaded, that's a big help. I wish someone around her had a 3 bottom plough that would fit mine, I'd like to see if she would pull it. She is a power house, but I'd bet that would be a stretch. :ru...

Nails,
I don't know why you couldn't try. But if you want your tractor the original color you need to go to CNH dealer, they got plenty of it.

Nails,
That would be up to you and what you are doing the most of with your tractor. I have the originals on mine, they do just fine for me. I use my tractor to plough, disc, bush hog, rake hay, mow hay.

Naildriver, I had my tires loaded with calcium chloride (salt). Brownsmule is telling you right, take his advice. I'm going to the tractor dealer this week to take one of my loaded tires to get it fixed. They do so much better loaded if you do a lot of ploughing, they even ride better loaded. If I h...

When I replaced mine, I looked high and low and couldn't find one. I went to a machine shop and they made me one for $10.00. Worked like a charm.

I can relate to your loss Jerry, it's hard when they pass, but the fond memories are still embedded in your heart. I hope the other one is all right as well.

Terry, what is the purpose of the foam. My Dexta never had any, you reckon this is something that only was used on the Supers?

Re: New Radiator

The shop manual tells me to save the rubber mounts and grommets under the radiator for remounting. There were on such animals existing on my machine. I looked at the parts manual and didn't see them in it either. Does anyone have any ideas on the subject? Bill, you definitely need the rubber mounts...

Henk, I just love it when you go on holiday, you always come back with great pictures. It's like being there for me. I've never been to Paris, but my son went back packing all over Europe a few years ago. What kind of place were you in when you were sitting down to eat. It looks like an old bomb she...

Don,
I'd like to see your journal on these projects. On the springs, let me know if you find them, I need one to. I've got my tractor in my garage at this time getting ready to put a new pto clutch in her. It will be a few weeks before I start though.

Re: Rims

I have local guy who says that he will blast and powder coat my rims for $220. I think it may be worth it, what do you think? The powder coating isn't necessary, just paint it with some good paint and save yourself some money. I bought Goodyear from my local New Holland dealer and put on mine, they...

Wonder if that makes me half way between Dexta and Super Dexta? :) Yorkshire man, I did this to mine and everything is still the same. What are we going to call our tractors now with this set up? I wonder if that small a filter will be big enough. Brian, I guess one doesn't get to old to learn, does one. I didn't know about the vanes eit...
