Fantastic photos, a pleasure to watch! Thanks!

You're right Pascal: back in the day you saw crane-equipped Majors everywhere here. You could buy them for little more than scrap value near the end. I'd say they started to disappear in the late '80s.

That Eicher is spectacular!!

Oscar, Is this holiday in celebration of some historic event? Or is it, everyone needs a vacation now , so lets go! It's linked to the start of the school summer holidays, which is determined regionally. There are very many people in Europe and spreading it around by region prevents a total disaste...

Oscar, Now you've got my curiosity up, about "the busiest day of the year," what's going on in Europe this time of year? A couple of million people in Holland and Germany set out by car to their holiday destinations, Mark. They also have days like this in France - they call it "Black Saturday". Fro...

I've got a TomTom too, Mark. It's a Dutch company by the way, a very innovative one. The model is a LIVE XL with all 42 European countries in it. Overall it is amazing what this thing can do, considering the very reasonable price. TomTom does make more expensive ones, but they have extra features th...

GPS is great!

I've had my previous GPS system / navigation device for close to 5 yrs but decided to update it today. Got myself a new one which has a very clever traffic information system. It's outfitted with an internal SIM card, just like a mobile phone. The GPS manufacturer has struck a deal with a large mobi...

That guy did the best possible thing. Airlines don't care about guitars, they care about bad publicity. So far, I've only travelled with my Baby Taylor travel guitar and I take that into the cabin with me. It's very sturdy, comes in a top-notch gigbag and fits into an overhead cabin. With some airli...

Hiya Stevo, An avatar image's width can be no greater than 80 pixels, the height no greater than 80 pixels, and the file size no more than 6 KB. If you've taken care of that, then it should work fine, so I'm a bit puzzled. :scratchhead: Are you sure your avatar complied with the sizing restrictions?...

It would also appear that tractors are being dismantled and the parts advertised on e-bay, which I think is a great shame. Presumably you can make more money breaking tractors than selling them intact! I had noticed that as well. Indeed, a shame. I guess the reason is that original spare parts are ...

But it had every sign of being a winner with Oscar Cool Not only was it the right size to fit in his garage, he could use it to cut his lawn AND its controls make it look like driving a railway signal box!! You're right, Brian! It's a lovely little tractor. Nevertheless, I don't think I would buy i...

For some reason, it depends on the kind of browser you use. When I use IE, I also see a red x. With Mozilla, I see the avatar. It's really weird and quite annoying. I'm on the look-out for a solution.

And something for Oscar! But I think it would be a tight fit in the garage. Perhaps the neighbors won't mind if you park it in the space opposite your house? The neighbours would pelt me with eggs. The local constable would fine me, then have it towed off at my expense. My wife would divorce me. Bu...

I have been meaning to ask Oscar if he can find out a bit more of her history, Oscar is that a possibility?? I'm afraid not :( . I found her in the yard of a big Fendt dealer, overgrown with nettles. She'd been there quite some time. The guy who sold her to me didn't know much about her history, ex...
