Kev, Yes it worked! What have you been doing? Not starting a forest fire I hope! No, just cleared some scrub on my block (3.5 acres) to grass it up for the horses. Got the bulldozer into clear it, and then just burnt it off later. Come on trevthetractor, lets see your tractor, or atleast if ...

This site will let you upload without registering http://tractorsearch.co.uk/images/ 640 pixels wide is a good choice. Dead simple! Only works with a few sites, but FTP is one of them. Just uploaded a photo with tractorsearch, hope it worked. http://tractorsearch.co.uk/images/images/img1807....

Trevor I have seen a few comments lately about differculty posting photos to FTP I normally email or PM this to those having differculty, but will put it here for now. To load photos or pictures onto Fordson Tractor pages (FTP), you need to load them onto a photo hosting website. Photobucket http://...

1952 engine has the oil pressure relief valve in the timing cover 1962 engine has the oil pressure relief valve as part of the oil pump. If your 1962 engine has the 1952 sump(no doubt for the axle 'a' frame pin), then it will also have the 1952 oil pump fitted, as the 1962 oil pump will not fit in a...

Re: county super 6 2wheel drive
Brockwood Very interesting photo. So County, merely turned the 'A' frame around to allow for the 6 cyl engine. (granted, being only a trial machine, it may have been more substancially manufactured if secessfull) Being that it is only 1 of 3, I take it was not put into regular production as a 2wd su...

Just asking for clarification of the photo, but, does the fuel return line feed back into the fuel inlet line of the fuel filter? or is it just my eyes

Re: 25/01/2013, What have you done today?
Paul Apart from my non-tractor related work, I did buy a grease cartridge for the grease gun. As I put the cartridge in the gun, thought I should grease the 5000 and flail mower while I had greasy hands. Glad I did. While greaseing the front steering spindles, I noticed that my axle A frame rear piv...

Re: Wanted Dexta key
I guess it won't matter if i have a selection of keys, prob a good idea to have a few different ones. :D Probably a better idea to make contact with the owner first. If I was selling my tractor and someone used their own key to start my tractor, I would not be happy. :nono: :curse: I also wonder wh...

turns out im not very smart and just put to much in someone messed up the conversion my bad? I'm pretty sure my seals are good as I was not experiencing any of the other issues like the rear going into the front. Atleast too much oil is a relativly easy fix. Just to clarify, leaking seals will norm...

Re: Transmission oil level
Now my next problem I drained the rear axil then I filled put about 40 LT in it but the level was above full on the dip stick. Does that make any sense? It was way over the full mark. Without being rude, there are 2 compartments, each having their own drain plug, their own fill plug and their own d...

Re: identifying my fordson diesel & brakes issue
Kirbust The S420376 tells us that the tractor has been fitted with a replacement engine at sometime. This number has nothing to do with your tractor. There are other numbers/letters on your tractor to tell us when she was made. This link will tell you where to find these numbers/letters combinations...
