Oil pressure relief valve? Could be sticking, or not moving freely.

61 Super Major should have a mechanical governor. No fiddly diaphragm and air pipes.

Re: Perry bale grab - what is needed

The Perry grab is fairly low-tech. Attaching it is straightforward, I think the brackets are adjustable for width and pin size. To obtain parallel lift, a post/bracket needs fitting to the loader frame of the tractor, LH side. This links to a similar post on the grab by means of a steel cable. Ensur...

I’m not sure of the object of this thread, stabiliser brackets or lift rods? Lots of random photos of back ends.

Three wires suggest that it’s set up for tail and brake. Possibly requires an offset-pin bulb.

5.50x16 20 psi.
5.50x16 26 psi (with weights)

I don’t believe that back pressure is ever necessary for an engine. Most Major silencers are straight through anyway, so no problem.
I’d be more concerned for your ears.

Re: fuel line won't bleed

If the camshaft happens to be holding the lift pump in tension, then the hand lever won’t do anything. Give the engine one turn, and try primer again. Incidentally, before removing complete tap from tank and dousing everything in diesel, simply remove fuel line from tap. This should help pinpoint an...

You appear to have bought goods which are “Not fit for purpose”. Contacting your supplier should be your first move, particularly if they are a different size from the ‘genuine’ dimensions quoted above.

Emiel,

18 and 24 teeth. So it's not 1:1, which is fine.

The 1:1 are really hard to find, as they only fit the new performance super majors.
Presumably that gives 540 at 1600 engine speed.

PTO driven pump would be an option, or front-mounted as most diggers.

It does sound as though the injection pump is not behaving. Take off the panel/cover from the side, and you’ll be able to see if the rack moves freely. It does sound like lack of lube, pour some in while you have the side off.

Re: Where is the frame and tractor serial numbers.

The serial number should be on an alloy plate on the engine side of the battery box/firewall. I believe that the original engine number also counted as the tractor serial number. Mine has an ‘S’ numbered engine too, so that’s no help. Worse, it’s been in a fire and the plate has melted. It is howeve...

Yes, vertical = off.
Single move to right (anti c.w.) = side.
Other (c. wise) as first reply above.
